Jim DeGrado

President/CEO

Since founding CDI in 1994, Jim has had experience in every one of CDI's service offerings.  He has created a corporate culture that combines excellence in execution with industry innovation.

CDI regularly participates in field testing of new products with manufacturers, government agencies and private industry.  The company has been involved with various product approvals through state Departments of Transportation, counties, the BLM and other regulatory agencies.  Jim has personally been involved with many of the case studies CDI has worked on.  In fact, Jim takes an active role in all aspects of the company, ensuring consistency in approach and quality results for its client base.  

Jim is a native of Colorado, and graduated from CSU.  He and his family live in the Denver metro area.

Stanford Slifer

Lining Division President, Watersaver

CDI purchased Watersaver Co. Inc. in April of 2012 and Stan will manage our newest division.  Watersaver Co. - a division of CDI, remains the industry’s oldest, most-experienced geomembrane liner fabricator in the United States.  In addition to large, factory-fabricated geomembranes, our liner division’s scope will include supplying all types of geosynthetics: geotextiles, geogrids, geocomposites, specialty materials and much more.  Stan started working with Watersaver in 1992 and has been involved in over one billion square feet of geosynthetic sales.

Stan is a Colorado native and 1990 graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Business Management.  He and his wife have one daughter and reside in Littleton, Colorado.

Chris Castellano

Vice President

Christopher Castellano has been with CDI since 2000.  In his tenure with the company, Chris has worked in every service CDI offers.  He is the Operations Manager; and in that capacity oversees the company’s operations across the Western United States.  Chris has on the ground experience working with challenging sites in the arid, semi-arid and high altitude regions of the Intermountain West. He has personally worked on a number of pilot programs testing new products and methods with various owners and regulatory agencies.
Chris is a native of Colorado, and graduated from UNC in 2000.  He and his family live in the Denver metro area. He is active in United Way and The Denver Bronco Charities. He and his family enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer

Mark DeSandre

Eastern Region Sales

Mark DeSandre has twenty-six years of experience in the Geosynthetics industry.  He has been active in operations management and outside sales of geotextiles, erosion control and geomembranes.  Mark has been at Watersaver since 1990, where he has excelled at providing customers with project solutions in his role as Eastern Regional Sales Manager.  He is currently responsible for Midwest and Eastern US sales of geomembrane products.

Mark is active in the Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI).  Mark is a graduate of Penn Sate witha BA in Labor Studies, as well as a graduate of Drexel University with an MBA.  Mark resides in Pennsylvania.

Paul Gilmore

Western Region Sales

Paul Gilmore has nearly a decade of experience in outside sales, estimating, installation, and project management in the geosynthetic industry.  His past projects include Agricultural, Landfill and environmental remediation projects.  Additionally, he has specialized in erosion control, water diversion systems and stabilization projects. Paul currently serves as Western Regional Sales Manager at Watersaver, a position he has held for the past year.

Paul is a graduate of Washington University with a BA in Law and Justice, and resides in Seattle, Washington.
