 WS-Bti Mosquito Control Product 
WS-Bti™ is a new, biodegradable mosquito control product (powder form) that is applied to the surface of the water in any mosquito habitat. WS-Bti™ is a larvicide that combines the highly effective mosquito killer, known as Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) with our patented surface-spreading formula. How does it kill mosquitoes?
Once ingested, WS-Bti™ paralyzes the cells in the stomach of the mosquito, interfering with normal digestion and triggering the insect to stop feeding on host plants. Bti spores then invade other insect tissue, multiplying in the insect's blood, until the insect dies (usually ranging within a few hours to a couple of days depending on the amount ingested).
What is the toxicity of WS-Bti™?
WS-Bti™ is NOT toxic to: humans, animals, birds, fish, and beneficial predator insects. Bacillus thuringiensis (B.t.) is a naturally-occurring soil bacterium that produces a toxin that specifically kills insects. B.t. is a naturally-occurring pathogen that readily breaks down in the environment classifying it as "Environmentally Friendly".

How effective is WS-Bti™?
Louisiana State University tests conducted in the summer of 2005 confirm WS-Bti™ killed 100% of all larvae in field tests within 48hrs! Notably, WS-Bti™ was extremely effective against the following species:
- Culex quinquefasciatus (most common West Nile Virus carrier) and
- the Anopheles quadrimaculatus (worldwide species known to carry malaria and West Nile Virus).
Due to the short biological half-life and its specificity, WS-Bti™ is less likely than chemical pesticides to cause field resistance in target insects.
How much product do I need?
