Blankets: Watersaver's commercial lines of rolled erosion control blankets (RECBs) provide a mechanically stabilized form of immediate cover. Our RECBs offer an economically effective barrier against both the detachment and transportation phases of the erosion process until vegetation or reinforced vegetation assumes this function. |

Turf Reinforcement Mats: One of Watersaver’s TRMs is a three-dimensional nylon product made of polyamide (nylon) filaments thermally fused at their intersections to create a homogeneous matrix. Ninety-five percent of the matrix is open space, which supplements nature’s own erosion control system by reinforcing plant root systems. As the roots grow, they become entwined within the lofty and open matrix, creating an extremely stable cover. When fully vegetated, it can double the effectiveness of natural vegetation and replace hard armor systems at a fraction of the cost. |

Straw Wattles: Watersaver Rice Straw Wattles are made from recycled, naturally weed-free California rice straw. Our wattles are available in three types of netting: biodegradable, photodegradable and burlap. Available in three standard sizes: 9" x 25', 12" x 10' and 20" x 8', these wattles imitate natural stabilization by reducing rate of flow, absorbing water and filtering sediment runoff. By trapping silt and seed, the wattles allow native vegetation and brush to begin to revegetate and restore root integrity within one year. Stabilization of the hillside will eventually transition to the reformed growth as the wattles decay. Excelsior Logs: Watersaver’s excelsior logs are designed to minimize transport of sediment beyond a control point. Sediment control products are intended to prohibit sediment migration once displaced. Typically, sediment control checks are installed in channels, on slopes or to protect inlets. Sediment control devices are cost effective solutions when on-site sediment can be captured in a single location, or to protect a culvert or drain inlet. Our manufacturer, Western Excelsior, utilizes only the highest quality components to manufacture excelsior logs. EXCEL Aspen Excelsior Logs consist of 100% Rocky Mountain Excelsior. Heavy duty netting is used for each log to provide maximum durability. Each log is inspected to ensure structural integrity and sufficient mass to provide jobsite performance. |

Silt Fence: Properly installed silt fence is one of the most-effective temporary sediment control devices available. It can withstand concentrated flows, heavy winds, and potentially retain 18 inches of sediment – often times 10-20 tons of sediment per run of fence. It is relatively fast to install so it can go in on short notice, inexpensive, and the posts are recyclable. For maximum effectiveness, any sediment retention device must filter sediment contained in runoff or pond water for deposition/sedimentation to occur. |

Safety Fence: Watersaver’s temporary fencing is used when an area requires barriers for the purposes of public safety or security. Common forms of temporary fencing include a variety of plastic fencing or panels constructed of thin-gauge polyethylene. Fencing commonly consists of intridual rolls that can be set up around the perimeter of the desired area to be fenced in. Virtually every jobsite has a requirement for safety fence. |
