PVC's wide range of chemical compatibility, excellent puncture resistance and functional elongation make it the best choice for buried membrane liner applications, including but not limited to:
![]() |
PVC is not a crystalline membrane liner material; therefore, it has functional elongation in all directions (360°) which enables it to conform to subgrade imperfections and settling without inducing Environmental Stress Cracking (ESC) which is inherent to HDPE and other crystalline liner materials.
PVC is the most cost-effective buried membrane and it has the longest successful use history (billions of square feet) of any liner material available today. With Watersaver's fabricated panels, approximately ½ acre in size, combined with Watersaver's fabricated accessories, installation contractors - using chemical fusion or thermal fusion seaming techniques - can complete installations faster - thereby minimizing weather related delays and installation costs.
